The North Shore Schizophrenia Society and its Family Support Centre are deeply grateful for whatever financial help people can manage.  We depend on such assistance to continue providing our many programs and services, most importantly the operation of the Centre.  We are a registered charity and issue official receipts for income tax purposes.
You can also donate monthly
You can choose to donate monthly, either through CanadaHelps on your credit card (click on the icon and then the "Donate Monthly" button) or by direct deposit arranged through our office, 604-926-0856, info@northshoreschizophrenia.org. Monthly donations are an assured way of providing your continuing support and also help even out our revenue flow.

Other ways of giving us your support
Regular annual giving
This is a common way of helping, where donors, usually every year as part of their regular charitable giving, help us out with a contribution.  Please make your cheque out to “The North Shore Schizophrenia Society” and send it to us at 205 - 1865 Marine Drive, West Vancouver BC V7V 1J7.

United Way
If you contribute to United Way, at your workplace for example, you can specify that your donation be directed to the North Shore Schizophrenia Society by citing our charity number,
BN 89422 6935 RR0001.

Endowment contributions
Unless specified, donations are used to help cover operating expenses.  Equally valuable, however, are endowment contributions, whose investment revenue provides us with a basic sustaining income and helps assure our future. Please contact our office at 604-926-0856 for more details.

Planned giving
One of the most significant ways of contributing to the North Shore Schizophrenia Society is to make provision for a bequest in your will.  Bequest giving is especially meaningful for those who have a family member or close friend who has suffered from schizophrenia or other serious mental illness like bipolar disorder or depression.  Please contact us at 604-926-0856 for details and proper legal wording to use.

Whatever kind of contribution you make, it will help us achieve our mission - to alleviate the suffering caused by schizophrenia and other serious mental illness - and help us, as an organization, to meet our responsibilities to the seriously mentally ill and their families.
